DIGITAL TUNING, INC. RELEASES THE NEWEST PRODUCT UPGRADE FOR SECOND GENERATION RX7S
PHOENIX, AZ, OCT. 6, 2004 - digital tuning, inc., an industry leader in Palm OS based automotive datalogging and engine information display systems, has released another product in its line of second generation RX7 ECU Upgrades.
The new Rtek7 Version 1.7 ECU Upgrade Chip is the newest in a series of chips designed to give the stock ECU features and capabilities never before offered by any other company. The Rtek7 v1.7 ECU Upgrade is a replacement ECU chip which features a built-in Fuel Cut Defenser, saves engine wear by lowering the cold engine idle speed, and allows easy clearing of a flooded engine. This version is designed specifically for engines running 720cc secondary injectors. Chips are currently available for 1987-88 RX-7 Turbo models.
"Apex seals are very sensitive to detonation. These guys turn up the boost and start blowing engines because the stock ECU just can't handle it." says Mike Montalvo, founder of digital tuning, inc. "We have addressed the shortcomings of the stock ECU when running higher than stock boost. With 720cc secondaries, and an upgraded fuel pump, you can run 12 PSI on the stock turbo with the Rtek v1.7 without the need of an external fuel controller."
Rtek7 version 1.7 is currently available for purchase online for $125 and includes installation.
