I own a TMO datalogger. This device allow you to plug your computer into the diagnostic plug of your DSM to log what the ECU "think" or see. If you have ABS on your car there is a slight problem. When the ECU go into diagnostic mode, the ABS does the same and become inactive for diagnostic purpose. Even if you don't "play" with the datalogger but it is still plugged in, you have inactive ABS. This is quite annoying. There is two work-around to bypass this feature. You can plug the datalogger once the car is running or you can cut the wire that send the diagnostic signal to the ABS system. In fact, it is a better idea to install a switch on this line.
The ABS unit is bolted on the side panel behind the passenger seat. Todd (TMO owner) said that the wire was pink but wasn't sure since he don't have the ABS on his car. Well, I can confirm that this is the right one. I have two pictures (low DC20 quality but...) that show that the pink wire is in the middle of the harness. Just remove 3-4" of the tape and you will find it, you don't have to cut the brown plastic tube containing other cables. My car is a 93 Talon and the wire should be the same for all 1st gen DSM (90-94) with ABS (obviously) but e-mail me if different on your car...
Note that on the second picture, the pink wire is cut and my cable that goes to the in-dash switch is not yet soldered.
UPDATE Note that you can cut and split the wire elsewhere in the wiring harness. I did it that way because the plastic panel there was already removed.
